Kingswood Kennels & Cattery are looking for a dynamic, hardworking and enthusiastic person to join our wonderful team caring for dogs and cats in our care.
Based in Heath & Reach, (LU7) Kingswood offer boarding to dogs and cats, as well as day care for dogs. We are a family run business established for over 30 years, committed to ensuring an excellent experience for animals and their owners.
This role is physically demanding, we are open in all weathers and operate every day of the year, so a true passion for animal welfare and the outdoors is essential.
Animal Behaviour NVQ is an advantage, but training will be given. Most importantly, the right candidate will have a confident and caring approach to animals, as well as a commitment to outstanding customer service and care.
What the role includes:
· General duties - Walking, feeding, cleaning dogs and cats. There will also be some customer facing elements – dealing with clients, taking bookings and responding to email enquiries.
· 30 hours/week
· Typical two week work pattern would be:
Week 1
Mon – Fri 7:00am – 12:00pm
Weekend off
Week 2
Mon – Fri 2:00pm – 6:00pm
Saturday 7:00am – 12:00pm and 2:00pm – 6:00pm
Sunday 7:00am – 11:00am and 3:00pm – 530pm
· Annual Leave cannot be taken during peak periods (School holidays / bank holidays) so the right candidate must be able to work during these times.
