The Role
We are looking for compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated support workers to assist a teenage boy with complex health needs in his own home and within the local community. This is a highly rewarding role where you will have the opportunity to build a meaningful relationship, promote independence, and support him to live life to the fullest.
Our client is an engaging young person who enjoys being actively involved in everyday activities, including preparing meals, helping with laundry, attending school, and participating in community activities. Your role will be to encourage his independence, support his personal goals, and help him access the opportunities and experiences that are important to him.

Requirements

Training
Whilst we expect a degree of experience in caring for individuals with complex health needs, full clinical training on the specific needs of our client will be provided for the right candidates. This includes a combination of e-learning and classroom-based training, followed by job-shadowing and "hands-on" training by a Lead Nurse. We operate a 24hr clinical on-call to provide round-the-clock support to our clients and their care teams.
