Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Grill Assistant, Front of House and Drinks Tender. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively hospitality environment, providing excellent service to our guests while supporting the kitchen operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, serving drinks, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality settings is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Assist with food preparation and cooking on the grill, ensuring dishes meet quality standards.
- Serve drinks efficiently and courteously to guests at the bar and tables.
- Support front of house operations by welcoming customers and managing orders promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the serving area, including the bar and dining spaces.
- Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times during meal preparation and service.
- Restock supplies as needed, including garnishes, beverages, and utensils.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately when required.
Skills
- Experience or familiarity with food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in a hospitality setting.
- Previous restaurant or serving experience is desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A friendly demeanour with a professional attitude towards customer service.
