Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator/Welder to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal railings, balustrades, handrails, staircases and gates ensuring precision and quality in all work.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and TIG welding and other welding techniques on stainless steel and mild steel.
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts.
- Read technical drawings and specifications to accurately fabricate components according to project requirements.
- Operate fabrication machinery safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Conduct inspections of finished work to ensure compliance with specifications and safety regulations.
- Assist in the assembly of fabricated parts into complete products or structures as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.
Pay: £16.00-£19.00 per hour
