Dog Daycare Assistant/Dog Walker (Part-Time)
Sals Pals Dog Daycare - Kirknewton, West Lothian
We’re looking for a friendly, proactive team member to join our premium dog daycare centre.
The position is a part-time role: Monday's, Thursday's & Friday's with a minimum of 24 hours per week.
Essential Requirements:
- Clean manual UK driving licence
- 21+ years old
- A genuine love of dogs
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Able to work confidently both independently and as part of a close knit team
- Positive reinforcement ethos (we are a fully positive-based daycare)
About the Role:
You’ll be working with small groups of dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities -including lots of young, energetic pups. Confidence handling lively dogs is important.
Although we have a heated indoor space, much of the job involves working outdoors in all weathers, so you must be comfortable being active outside. High hygiene standards are essential, and cleaning up after the dogs is a regular part of the role.
Previous professional experience with dogs is preferred.
