We have an excellent opportunity for a skilled Conveyancing Assistant to join our team. This position is suited for someone who has excellent communication skills and a proactive nature. This role is offered on a full or part time, permanent basis. This position focuses on delivering high-impact client care and providing essential support for the firm's conveyancing team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day support for the conveyancing team, reporting to the Head of Residential Conveyancing, and collaborating closely with the other conveyancers in the team.

Role Description
This is a on-site role for a Conveyancing Assistant located in Norwich, Norfolk. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the team on a range of Residential Conveyancing cases.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting Fee Earners with general administrative tasks
- Dealing with clients over the telephone and face to face
- Building a good rapport with Estate Agents and other parties
- Completing Land Registry applications and Property searches
- Opening files and proceeding with initial stages of conveyancing transactions and due diligence checks
- Completing Stamp Duty Land Tax forms
- Preparing contract packs in respect of sale transactions
- Post-completion procedures including submission of SDLT returns and applications for registration
- File closures

- Having previous experience of working with an Conveyancing Department is essential.
