About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional General Manager to lead our privately owned and thriving pub, restaurant, and six-bedroom BnB. This is a hands-on role working closely with the owners to drive business performance, enhance guest experiences, and build a strong, motivated team.
The ideal candidate will be innovative, commercially aware, highly organised, and passionate about hospitality. They will have an excellent eye for detail, consistently high standards, and the ability to think outside the box to maximise revenue opportunities and improve operational efficiency.

- Previous General Manager or senior hospitality management experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the pub, restaurant, and accommodation business.
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences across all areas of the business.
- Maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service.
- Monitor business performance and implement strategies to improve profitability.
- Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships.
- Ensure bedrooms are maintained to the highest standard and occupancy targets are achieved.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, inspire, and motivate the team to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Recruit, train, and develop team members.
- Create a positive working culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Alongside management to do regular coaching, training, and performance reviews.
Business Development
- Identify new opportunities to grow sales and increase customer loyalty.
- Develop innovative ideas, events, promotions, and community engagement activities.
- Work collaboratively with the owners on strategic business objectives.
- Continuously seek ways to improve operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Compliance & Health & Safety
- Ensure full compliance with all health and safety legislation.
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and licensing standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure safe working practices throughout the business.
- Keep up to date with relevant hospitality legislation and best practices.
- Ensure all team members receive appropriate compliance training.
Financial Management
- Manage labour costs, budgets, and operational expenditure.
- Analyse sales reports and business performance data.
- Maximise revenue opportunities across food, beverage, and accommodation operations.
- Take ownership of key performance indicators and financial targets.
