We’re seeking a skilled Electrical Assembler to join a growing production team specialising in pre-fabricated utility rooms for modular buildings. This hands-on position suits someone with strong electrical knowledge and a passion for precision workmanship.
Monday to Friday 06:00 -15:30
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret electrical schematics to wire and assemble modular utility units
- Install a wide range of components safely and accurately
- Conduct testing: continuity, insulation resistance, and basic functional checks
- Diagnose and correct wiring issues or faulty components
- Adhere to internal quality protocols and UK electrical regulations
- Collaborate with mechanical and general assemblers across production
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working area
- Support other areas of the production line when needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience in electrical assembly or on-site electrical installation
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications
- Familiarity with testing procedures and diagnostic equipment
- Solid understanding of UK wiring standards and safety practices
Desirable:
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
- Experience working with modular units, packaged plant rooms, or utility pods
