Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Supply Chain and Logistics Manager, where you will lead the planning, coordination, and optimization of our supply chain operations. Our business supplies all major retailers, wholesalers and distributors across the UK. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive process improvements and implement strategic initiatives that enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies to optimize inventory levels, transportation, and warehousing operations.
- Manage all raw material purchasing including all traceability.
- Streamline procurement, inventory management, and logistics workflows.
- Collaborate with logistics providers to ensure timely delivery while maintaining cost efficiency and service quality.
- Conduct root cause analysis on supply chain disruptions and develop corrective action plans for continuous improvement.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics efficiency, order accuracy, and inventory turnover to drive ongoing enhancements.
Experience
- Proven experience in supply chain and logistics roles.
- Familiarity with logistics operations including transportation planning, warehouse management, and distribution strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing solutions for complex supply chain challenges.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement practices within a manufacturing or distribution environment is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with existing suppliers.

Pay: £35,000.00 per year
