INDIAN SPECALITY CHEF
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead culinary operations, supervise staff, and ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained across all services. Duties and Accountabilities:
- Train and supervise other chefs and kitchen staff's activities, guide them and manage them.
- Responsible for preparing and overseeing a variety of high- quality North Indian Speciality vegetarian and non-Veg dishes.
- Maintaining authenticity, taste, and presentation standards that align with traditional Indian culinary techniques.
- Introduce an exciting dish of the month at the beginning of every month to keep our customer interested.
- Develop and implement new menu items and specials.
- Manage day-to-day ordering of food for a section in line with the UK purchasing guidelines.
- Ensure food prepared is of highest possible standards.
- Controlling portion sizes in accordance with food specifications.
- Make food according to standard recipes, portion yields and within agreed time limits and minimum wastage.
- Deal with food complaints efficiently.
- Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Indian Chef or similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting for at least 3 years.
- Supervising experience with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Strong knowledge of Indian Speciality cuisine, ingredients, and traditional cooking methods
- Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations in the UK
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously
- Leadership qualities with a focus on team management and staff development
- Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality environments is highly desirable
- A passion for culinary arts combined with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Salary:: £ 42,000.00 (Per Annum)
Full Time Role, Permanent.
Pay: £42,000.00-£43,000.00 per year
