We are looking for a Full Time Laboratory Cleaner/Assistant.
Hours 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday
o Preparation of sterile materials using autoclaves and ovens;
o Stock maintenance of laboratory consumables; movement of stocks from central store into main laboratory suite; record items for re-ordering
o Daily recording of data from thermostatic equipment and aircon units
o Maintenance of Laboratory Spill kits and First Aid Kits
o Weekly general house-keeping of the Laboratory & R&D Suites, including cleaning and disinfection of work areas and equipment. Floor level cleaning according to laboratory practice.
o Completion of laboratory suite cleaning records
o Washing of Laboratory glassware, apparatus & equipment
o Safe disposal of microbiological and hazardous wastes from the Laboratory/ R&D Suites
- Removal of general waste from all laboratory suites.
- Washing of laboratory fabrics / garments
Preparing laboratory coats for collection
Pay: From £24,000.00 per year

Experience:
- Commercial cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
