Job Title: Lend & Mend Manager
Location: Ty Pawb, Wrexham
Responsible to: Head of Commercial Services
Number of hours per week: 22 hours. Tues – Friday 11am to 3pm and Saturdays 10am - 4pm
Salary: £15,517 (£26,450 pro-rata)

This role is responsible for the overall management and development of the Lend & Mend service, ensuring its smooth day-to-day operation. The Manager will lead and support staff and volunteers, oversee repairs and retail activity, maintain high standards of customer service and safety, and drive the project’s mission of sustainability, waste reduction, and community engagement.
Expected duties daily will vary within:
- Ensure the smooth day to day running of Lend & Mend, undertaking physical tasks when required and delegating to volunteers where appropriate.
- Provide leadership and management direction to a team of staff and volunteers, ensuring the operational performance and high customer service standards of the service.
- Devise and oversee the maintenance of appropriate recording and reporting systems for borrowing activity.
- Undertake customer consultation to develop and increase items for hire in accordance with customer need.
- Produce and Maintain accurate records.
- Clean, prepare and present items ready for lending
- Update the lend and mend software with hires and returns
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Maintain the Lend Engine database, updating records, adding/removing entries, and train staff to be able to assist customers using the service.
- Ensure compliance with all aspects of Health and Safety legislation and risk management in the shop.
- Achieve and maintain high standards of housekeeping, organisation and cleanliness throughout the shop
