The Accommodation Advisorplays a key role in delivering an excellent experience for students livingwithin UCL residences. This position combines front-of-house responsibilitieswith operational and administrative support across accommodation sites. Youwill provide a welcoming and professional service to students, visitors andcontractors, manage enquiries and support residents with day-to-dayaccommodation matters.
You will also assist withaccommodation administration, including resident records, payments, room moves,arrivals and departures, while ensuring properties are maintained to therequired standards. The role requires close collaboration with colleagues acrossthe accommodation team and involvement in initiatives that enhance studentwellbeing, engagement and overall satisfaction. This is a varied and rewardingrole suited to someone who enjoys working in a busy environment and iscommitted to delivering excellent customer service.
You are a customer-focused and organised individual who enjoys working with people and creating positive experiences. You have experience in a customer-facing environment and are confident communicating with a wide range of people while handling enquiries and resolving issues professionally and sensitively.
You are able to manage competing priorities, maintain attention to detail and work effectively both independently and as part of a team. You bring a positive attitude, adaptability and a collaborative approach to your work, with a genuine commitment to supporting students and delivering high standards of service.
Experience within accommodation, hospitality, retail or student services would be beneficial, together with administrative experience and confidence using Microsoft Office systems.
