Full-Time / Part-Time Vacancy
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our practice for an experienced, full-time/ part-time Nurse Associate.
We are a friendly inner-city systmone practice with a strong multi-disciplinary team. Together we care for just over 10,000 patients over 2 sites. The GP team comprises of 2 GP Partners who both have a special clinical and management interest, 2 Salaried GP’s, 5 GPs with whom we have long term arrangements. The Nursing team consists of Practice Nurses, a Nurse Associate and a team of phlebotomists.
We are a really motivated bunch who put patient care at the heart of everything we do, whilst having robust systems for monitoring quality and compliance. We provide a full range of primary health services under a GMS contract; services include minor surgery, child health care, maternity services, phlebotomy, chronic disease management, women’s health, contraception services, and travel clinics. Our most recent CQC result was ‘Good’ in all areas and we strive continuously to keep up to date with new requirements.
We are looking for an experienced Nurse Associate to further support our current nursing team and help us develop our future nursing agenda. The successful candidate will deliver a high standard of patient care and use advanced autonomous clinical skills, enabling you to assess and manage chronic diseases. You will be competent in the usual Nursing skills, and ideally have Primary Care experience. We are an enhanced diabetes service provider and the Nurse Associate will be an integral component of this. Additionally, having a list of which 20% of our patients are diabetic, an enhanced understanding of diabetes is desirable.
