Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organised Events Co-ordinator to oversee and execute a variety of events across our current bar and restaurant along with our newly built venue 'The Fairway'. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and experience in hospitality or related sectors such as restaurants or hotels. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage events from conception through to completion, ensuring memorable experiences for guests and clients alike. The successful applicant will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of event planning, liaising with vendors, and delivering exceptional guest services.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organise, and execute a diverse range of events, including corporate functions, fundraising activities, and social gatherings.
- Coordinate with clients to understand their requirements and deliver tailored event solutions.
- Manage event budgets, timelines, and logistics to ensure seamless execution.
- Upsell additional services or products to maximise revenue opportunities during events.
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and venue staff to secure necessary resources and services.
- Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring all elements are executed according to plan.
- Provide excellent guest services during events, addressing any issues promptly and professionally.
- Utilise effective time management skills to handle multiple events simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Maintain detailed organisational records related to event planning processes.
- Assist in the development of marketing materials and promotional strategies for upcoming events.
Requirements
- Proven experience in event planning or co-ordination within hospitality, restaurant, hotel, or fundraising sectors is preferred.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Demonstrated ability in upselling products or services to enhance revenue streams during events.
- Exceptional time management skills with the capacity to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure.
- Experience in guest services and delivering high standards of hospitality is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of organisational tools and software relevant to event planning is desirable.

Pay: £28,000.00-£31,500.00 per year
