Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement intuitive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React, Angular, and Vue.js.
- Collaborate with UX designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into functional web pages that are both attractive and accessible.
- Integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs and web services to enable dynamic content updates and data visualization.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility across devices.
- Maintain code quality through version control systems like Git and SVN, perform unit testing, and participate in code reviews to ensure best practices.
- Work closely with back-end developers utilizing technologies such as Node.js, Django, ASP.NET Core, or Ruby on Rails to deliver cohesive solutions.
- Contribute to the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) by actively participating in Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
Requirements
- Proven experience in front-end development with a strong portfolio showcasing responsive web design projects.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (including SCSS/SASS), JavaScript (including TypeScript), and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Familiarity with back-end technologies like Node.js, Django, ASP.NET Core, or PHP is highly desirable.
- Experience working with databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB or SQLite for data-driven applications.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git or SVN along with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of web services protocols including REST and SOAP; experience with GraphQL is a plus.
- Ability to implement UI/UX best practices focusing on usability and accessibility standards.
- Exposure to DevOps practices including Docker containers, Ansible automation, AWS cloud services, and Linux environments is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills coupled with excellent communication abilities; capable of working within Agile teams using tools like Jira or Trello.
