Job Overview
We are seeking an experience coffee shop chef / cook to run a Sunday & Monday's only and also to fill any holidays as and when required. Experience in this environment would be beneficial. Hours of work are from 8.30am till 4pm
Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present a wide range of menu items with precision and creativity.
- Manage food safety protocols, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices.
- Oversee food preparation processes to ensure consistency in quality and presentation.
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely serving of dishes and excellent customer service.
- Maintain inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and monitor kitchen equipment for optimal operation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food production, cooking, or culinary roles within a café, coffee shop, restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff effectively.
- Demonstrated expertise in food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
Pay: £12.71-£14.50 per hour
