We are currently recruiting for Bulk Process Operators for our manufacturing site in Irvine.
Job Purpose:
- Carry out Process operations in line with all standard operating procedures to manufacture product as per production plan. This includes picking stock, weighing, and charging off works orders.
- Ensure all process areas and equipment are maintained to the required levels of GMP and cleanliness.
- Ensure all products complies with all quality requirements.
- Control of raw material and ensuring minimum waste.
- Ensuring all health, safety and environmental standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Monitor and report process status vs plan requirements.
- Complete all documentation relevant to process.
- Area cleanliness.
- Achievement of process targets for efficiency, quality and cost.
- Operate all required machinery and equipment in line with health and safety requirements.
- Contribution to continuous improvement.
- Monitor product quality and take corrective action in the event of deviation from standards.
- Monitor all waste stream and take corrective action in the event of deviation from standards.
- Take responsibility for personal and team safety with particular focus on PPE and safety systems.
- Contribute to all team processes and strive for continuous improvement in all areas of the operations.
Key Competencies:
- Experience in the handling & processing of chemicals
- Good Level of written and spoken English and numeracy.
- Maturity to work as part of a small but diverse team.
- High level of manual dexterity
- Ability to work well alone and within a team
- Possess a strong work ethic accompanied by a flexible approach to tasks
