As we continue to grow, we are looking for enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and professional bilingual tour guides to join our freelance team and act as the face of our brand.
The Role
We are seeking English and Korean bilingual Tour Guides to lead day tours departing from London to premium destinations across Southern England. You will be responsible for ensuring our guests enjoy a safe, engaging, and well-organised tour while sharing local knowledge, history, and culture throughout the journey.
Key destinations include:
- Windsor, Oxford, Bath, Stonehenge, Brighton
- The Cotswolds (including Bibury and Bourton-on-the-Water)
- Other beautiful attractions around Southern England
Key Responsibilities
- Group Management: Lead and manage day tour groups seamlessly from initial departure to return.
- Bilingual Commentary: Deliver engaging, accurate, and entertaining historical and cultural commentary in both English and Korean.
- Customer Service: Welcome guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service and hospitality throughout the trip.
- Logistics & Coordination: Coordinate efficiently with coach drivers and local suppliers to ensure the itinerary runs smoothly.
- Time Management: Securely manage timings and assist guests during scheduled attraction visits.
- Problem Solving: Handle unexpected situations, schedule changes, or guest inquiries professionally and calmly.
- Brand Ambassador: Represent the TOURSTORY brand with high energy, professionalism, and enthusiasm.
Requirements
- Language: Fully bilingual with professional fluency in both English and Korean (spoken fluency is essential).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience successfully leading guided tours.
- Communication: Exceptional communication, public speaking, and storytelling skills with a confident group presence.
- Personality: Friendly, approachable, and strictly customer-focused.
- Skills: Strong organisational, time management, and independent problem-solving skills.
- Availability: Willingness to work weekends, bank holidays, and during peak holiday travel seasons.
- Eligibility: Must be legally eligible to work on a freelance/self-employed basis in the UK.
Desirable (Preferred but not essential)
- Proven experience guiding international visitors and leading large coach tours.
- Deep knowledge of British history, culture, and popular tourist attractions.
- Valid First Aid certification.
