At Pola, we're reinventing the humble ice pop using real fruit and simple ingredients. Since launching in 2019, we've served over 30,000 customers online, sold hundreds of thousands of ice pops across the UK, and recently launched the UK's first organic freeze-at-home ice pops.
We're now looking for a Production Operative to become a key member of our growing production team.
The Role
You'll primarily be responsible for overseeing one of our bespoke ice pop production machines, ensuring every ice pop leaving the line meets our quality standards.
You'll spend much of the day monitoring production, carrying out quality checks and keeping the production line running smoothly.
No two days are exactly the same, so you'll also help with general production tasks around the kitchen when required.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing one of our ice pop production machines
- Carrying out quality checks on finished products
- Monitoring production and identifying any issues
- Operating transfer pumps
- Using sieves and other production tools
- Cleaning equipment and maintaining excellent hygiene standards
- Supporting the wider production team wherever needed

Previous food manufacturing experience is welcomed but not essential - full training will be provided.

Working Hours
Typically Monday-Friday between 8:00am and 4:00/5:00pm.
Hours may increase during our busy summer season and reduce slightly during winter depending on production requirements.
