The company :
West End Precision is a family owned high volume manufacturing facility based in Bideford, established for over 50 years and now embracing the third generation of family management. We believe in a strong work life balance operating 38 hours over a 4 day week, working from Monday to Thursday as standard every week. The business operates with 3 classic disciplines of primary production equipment; conventional CNC lathes, CNC sliding heads and multi-spindle Wickmans. The majority of our customers are based in the UK, with a range of markets including Automotive & Aerospace, hydraulics and braking systems, producing circa 5M components each year. Operating to the IATF 16949 Quality standard is our normal practice, with the highest expectations placed on the quality of all operations regardless of the application.
You will be responsible for:
- Operating multiple machines to produce various parts while ensuring that work is carried out to the highest standards, in a timely manner and in accordance with company procedures.
- To ensure safety and quality procedures are adhered to.
- Flexible approach to tasks.
- Excellent time management skills and able to prioritise your workload.
- The ability to work as part of a team is important.
- You should also be reliable, able to demonstrate enthusiasm and a willingness to take on a variety of tasks, new methods and procedures.
The role is Monday - Thursday 7am - 5.15pm
Pay will be based on previous experience.
West End Precision offers a company bonus scheme for all staff payable twice yearly if profitability levels are maintained.
