About Heritage Kitchen & Bar
Heritage Kitchen & Bar is an established and growing Afro-Caribbean restaurant, recognised for exceptional food, outstanding customer service and a vibrant dining experience.
We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house operation and ensure every guest receives exceptional service from the moment they arrive until they leave.
This is a leadership role for an experienced hospitality professional who can confidently manage a busy restaurant, motivate a team and maintain the highest operational standards.
The Role
As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the restaurant, ensuring outstanding customer service, smooth service, excellent staff performance and a welcoming atmosphere.
You will work closely with the Executive Chef, Head Chef and Directors to ensure the restaurant operates efficiently while maintaining the Heritage standard.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day running of the restaurant.
Lead, motivate and supervise the front-of-house team.
Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
Ensure food and drinks are served efficiently and professionally.
Handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints with confidence and professionalism.
Create staff rotas and manage daily staffing levels.
Conduct pre-service briefings with the kitchen and front-of-house teams.
Ensure the restaurant is clean, organised and presented to a high standard.
Monitor staff performance and maintain high service standards.
Support the recruitment of front-of-house staff when required.
Work closely with the Directors to improve service, efficiency and profitability.
Ensure compliance with all health & safety and licensing regulations.
Essential Requirements
Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager.
Strong leadership and people-management skills.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Professional appearance and attitude.
Flexible to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
Desirable
Experience managing high-volume restaurants.
Personal Licence (preferred but not essential).
Experience using EPOS systems.
