Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join the Buyology Newport team. The assistant manager is part of the store's management team and reports to the store manager. They have the authority to make decisions regarding store operations.
Responsibilities:
- Creating a welcoming environment for customers in the store.
- Providing excellent customer service.
- Keeping a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in the store.
- Motivating staff members to meet and surpass targets.
- Passing on managerial communications to other members of staff and ensuring that these are implemented.
- Maintaining and monitoring store inventory.
- Training staff members and pursuing their own training in-store as well.
- Ensuring that the store is clean, safe and presentable for customers.
- Support the store manager in the fulfilment of their role and responsibilities.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in retail management or a related field.
- Strong understanding of retail operations, merchandising, and customer service.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management and sales analysis.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and a fast-paced retail environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.

Pay: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
