We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Washing, cleaning, and sanitising dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to maintain hygiene standards.
- Assisting with basic food preparation tasks under supervision to support chefs and kitchen staff.
- Ensuring the cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and storage areas throughout the shift.
- Organising and storing clean items appropriately for easy access by kitchen staff.
- Supporting the team during busy periods by helping with serving or other duties as required.
- Adhering strictly to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all staff members.
- Assisting with waste disposal and recycling procedures efficiently and responsibly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or hospitality environments such as restaurants, hotels, or catering services is desirable but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of kitchen safety and hygiene standards is beneficial.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
