Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team and ensure the optimal performance, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems across various facilities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead technical projects, troubleshoot complex equipment issues, and contribute to creating comfortable, climate-controlled environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, construction experience, and leadership skills to drive excellence in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) operations.
Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and maintain air conditioning systems in accordance with schematics and technical specifications.
- Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime and ensure system efficiency.
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings for system installation and troubleshooting.
- Lead maintenance activities, including routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs of HVAC equipment.
- Supervise construction projects related to HVAC upgrades or new installations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project timelines.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior technicians or team members during maintenance or repair tasks.
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs, parts used, and system performance for ongoing monitoring and reporting.
Experience
- Proven experience working with air conditioning systems in commercial or industrial settings.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of HVAC equipment components and their functions.
- Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints related to HVAC systems.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide teams through complex projects or repairs.
- Hands-on experience with equipment repair, troubleshooting electrical or mechanical faults efficiently.
- Construction experience related to HVAC installation or renovation projects is highly desirable.
