Job Description:
Working under the day to day control of the Production Manager your role is Manufacturing Supervisor.
Roles and Responsibilities.
Day to day duties including, but not limited to:
· Ensure compliant with all Health & Safety
· Supervise and organise members of the team ensuring productivity at all times
· Diagnosing breakdown problems and faults
· Quality checking
· Repairing equipment
· Fitting new parts and ensuing equipment is working correctly
· Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and minor repairs
· Monitor inventory of materials and equipment
· Maximising production efficiencies
· Fill out any required paperwork currently and ensure this is passed to the relevant person
· Supervise and train members of the team
· Comply with all company policies and procedures
Skills and Experience.
· An ability to work well under pressure
· Excellent planning and leadership abilities
· Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
· Proven experience as a supervisor (minimum 3 years, including disciplinary) / people leading
· Able to do a rotating shift pattern
· Able to multi task
· Good delegator
· Experience working to set quality standards
· Basic maintenance experience
· Not afraid to get hands on
· Excellent communication skills
· Relevant technical knowledge
· Fork lift experience but not essential
· Problem solving skills
· Efficient and organised
Hours of work.
6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm Monday-Friday, plus occasional night shift holiday cover.
Pay.
You will be paid £30,000-£35,000 including bonus per annum dependent upon experience.
