Cover People are recruiting on behalf of an ambitious secondary school in Levenshulme seeking a talented Art Teacher to join their successful Creative Arts department. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a school that values innovation and encourages students to think independently while developing their artistic skills.
Art plays an important role within the wider curriculum, giving students the opportunity to explore a range of media, techniques and cultural influences. The successful candidate will inspire students to experiment creatively whilst developing strong technical foundations and a genuine appreciation of the visual arts.
The Role:
- Teach Art across Key Stages 3 and 4, with Key Stage 5 available for the right candidate
- Plan and deliver imaginative lessons that challenge and engage learners
- Encourage students to develop their own artistic style through a variety of practical projects
- Assess and monitor progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement
- Support exhibitions, enrichment opportunities and whole-school creative events

What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Art within a secondary setting
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for developing students' confidence and creativity
- Commitment to maintaining high expectations for all learners
All pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay where applicable.
