As an Apprentice Parts / Call Centre Operator, you will learn all aspects of a busy automotive parts operation while providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers. The role combines telesales, parts administration, and customer support responsibilities, giving you the opportunity to develop knowledge of automotive parts, stock systems, and customer service processes.
You will work as part of the Parts Operations team, supporting customers with parts enquiries, pricing, orders, and deliveries whilst undertaking an apprenticeship programme and developing the skills required for a successful career within the automotive industry. This is based on the existing Call Centre Operator responsibilities and adapted for an apprentice-level role.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with parts enquiries via phone, email, and at the front counter.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Learn to identify and source vehicle parts using manufacturer systems and electronic catalogues.
- Provide updates on order status, deliveries, returns, and account queries.
- Maintain accurate customer and order records.
- Support stock control and inventory activities.
- Build strong product knowledge to recommend suitable parts and accessories.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, suppliers, and customers to deliver excellent service.
- Attend apprenticeship training and apply learning within the workplace.

- Eager to learn and develop within the automotive industry.
- Organised with good attention to detail.
- Comfortable using computers, email, and Microsoft Office.
- Positive, reliable, and professional attitude.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
