Olivia’s Bakehouse is looking for an experienced, motivated and hands-on Manager to lead our Queen’s Park cafe team.
We are an independent bakery and cafe business specialising in artisan sourdough, pastries, cakes, coffee and seasonal food, with products delivered fresh daily from our production bakery. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in running a well-organised, welcoming and high-quality cafe environment and who can confidently manage the day-to-day operation of the site.
This role would suit someone with previous cafe or hospitality management experience who is ready to take on a new challenge of a busy site while continuing to grow with an expanding independent business.
### The Role
You will be responsible for the overall day-to-day running of the cafe, including:
- Managing daily cafe operations
- Leading, training and supporting staff
- Maintaining high standards of customer service and product quality
- Coffee preparation and barista standards
- Stock ordering and stock management
- Food safety and hygiene management
- Cash handling and end-of-day cashing up
- Managing rotas and staffing levels
- Keeping menus, specials and displays fresh and appealing
- General administration required for smooth operation of the cafe
You will work closely with the Operations Manager and wider management team, but we are looking for someone capable of taking initiative and confidently managing the site independently.

We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous cafe, coffee shop or hospitality management experience
- Is confident leading and motivating a team
- Has strong organisational and communication skills
- Is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Has a good understanding of coffee preparation and cafe service
- Takes pride in maintaining high operational standards
- Is proactive, dependable and solution-focused
- Works well collaboratively with other departments and locations

### Hours & Pay
- Full-time position
- Current role averages 30+ hours per week at £13.50 per hour
- Salaried 40-hour option may be available for the right candidate
- Cafe opening hours are generally 9am–4pm, with some seasonal variation
