The Role:
We are recruiting for an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a busy waste management and recycling site in Ilkeston.
Key Duties:
-
Operating a B1 Counterbalance FLT (up to 5 tonnes)
-
Loading and unloading wagons and containers
-
Moving waste and recyclable materials around the site
-
Loading pallets, bins and materials for processing
-
Moving materials into storage and processing areas
-
Supporting general yard and recycling operations
-
Carrying out daily FLT checks and reporting defects
-
Keeping the site clean, tidy and safe
-
Working in line with site health & safety procedures
Requirements:
-
B1 Counterbalance ticket – up to and including 5 tonnes
-
Previous Counterbalance FLT experience essential
-
Waste, recycling, manufacturing or industrial experience preferred
-
Reliable and hardworking
-
Comfortable working in a busy outdoor yard environment
