Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging educational activities that promote children's development.
- Support children in their daily routines, including meals, playtime, and rest periods.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional well-being.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and daily activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment within the nursery.
- Collaborate with other staff members to manage classroom behaviour and support individual learning needs.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in childcare.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
- A background in early childhood education or relevant qualifications would be an advantage.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both children and adults.
- Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication within the nursery environment.
- A genuine passion for childcare and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a positive attitude.
