Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic restaurant and bar Server to serve customers, take orders, and ensure the restaurant operates smoothly. You will play a key role in providing excellent customer service, preparing orders efficiently, and maintaining cleanliness in a high paced, high energy restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a positive and friendly attitude
- Take orders accurately and provide recommendations as needed
- Serve food to tables and deliver great service throughout their dining experience
- Make hot and cold drinks from the bar to standards
- Operate the till and handle cash and card payments
- Maintain cleanliness in the front of the house and serving areas
- Monitor stock levels for items like condiments and packaging materials
- Assist kitchen staff when needed and ensure smooth service during busy periods
- Comply with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a takeaway or fast-food setting is preferred but not essential
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
