Grab Lorry Driver (Full Time)
K&S Civil Contracts Limited are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic individual, to operate our Grab Lorry. The successful candidate will be based out of our Milton of Campsie office and will report to the Fleet Manager, lending full grab support to all Civils and reinstatement activity across our Scottish projects.
Principal duties and responsibilities:
- Responsible for driver checks and maintenance logs
- Assisting in the delivery of all civils materials to site
- Assisting in all muck away and site reinstatement works
- Playing their part in promoting a “Right First Time” mentality to help ensure smooth efficient delivery on all projects
- Adapt a flexible approach to all K&S project demands
Desirable:

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications Required:
- Clean Driving Licence
- NRSWA
- Cat C entitlement
- They must hold relevant grab licence with clam shell entitlement
- Up to date driver CPC 35 hours
- Familiar with drivers’ hours including working time directive
- Experience in driving 32 tonne grab vehicles
- Other Utilities experience and accreditations
- Ability to problem solve
- Attention to detail in the quality audit, site set up and ability to work accurately
- Appreciation of the Mobile Telecom network and Civils infrastructure
- Experience of large projects and multiple civils and support gangs
Experience:
- Minimum 18 months’ experience in a similar position within the Mobile Telecoms/Utilities Industry
