Cruise Product Expert
Award-winning CruiseKings and Scotland's Cruise Centre are part of the Brooklyn Travel Group, a trusted travel business with over 50 years of experience and more than 500 travel professionals across the UK.
As our cruise business continues to grow, we are looking for a Cruise Product Expert to join our team.
This role can be full-time or part-time, with remote, hybrid, or office-based working (Ayr, Scotland).
This is a varied and rewarding position that combines commercial, creative, analytical, and administrative responsibilities. You will work closely with cruise line partners to source and develop attractive cruise holidays, monitor market trends, identify new opportunities, and create compelling cruise products that excite our customers and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Product Sourcing & Negotiation

Proactively identify and secure exclusive cruise offers.
- Negotiate competitive rates, added-value promotions, and group deals directly with cruise line partners.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Product Development & Innovation

Create and develop attractive cruise and stay packages.
- Design innovative itineraries and holiday concepts.
- Produce detailed product briefs for the Marketing team.
Market Insight & Analysis

Monitor competitor activity and industry developments.
- Analyse sales and market data to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
- Recommend new products and initiatives based on customer demand and market intelligence.
Internal Communication & Support

Act as the link between suppliers and internal sales teams.
- Communicate new products, promotions, and supplier updates across the business.
- Ensure colleagues have access to the latest cruise product information.
Training & Product Expertise

Deliver engaging training sessions, both virtually and in person.
- Support colleagues in developing their cruise knowledge and confidence.
- Help establish and maintain a culture of cruise expertise across the business.
Experience, Qualities & Skills
We are looking for someone who is:
An Excellent Communicator You have outstanding interpersonal skills and can build strong relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and business partners.
Commercially Minded You have a keen eye for opportunities, understand margins and profitability, and know what makes an attractive holiday package.
Analytical and Creative You are comfortable working with data to identify trends and insights, while also thinking creatively to develop unique travel experiences.
Highly Organised You can effectively manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail, and work successfully to deadlines.
Passionate About Travel You have genuine enthusiasm for the travel industry. Cruise industry experience would be advantageous, but your passion, motivation, and willingness to learn are equally important.
