We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Oral Surgeon to join our established, fully computerised family dental practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled clinician to become part of a friendly, supportive team committed to delivering exceptional patient care using modern technology and high clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Level 2 IMOS - Perform a wide range of oral surgical procedures, including complex extractions and other minor oral surgery treatments.
- Assess patients and develop appropriate treatment plans based on clinical examination and diagnostic imaging.
- Interpret radiographs and other medical imaging, including CBCT scans where appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with dentists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records in accordance with professional and regulatory requirements.
- Provide patients with clear pre-operative information and post-operative care instructions.
- Keep up to date with advances in oral surgery techniques, materials, and technology.
- Adhere to all clinical governance, infection control, and health and safety standards.
Essential Requirements
- GDC-registered Dentist with recognised postgraduate training and qualifications in Oral Surgery.
- Inclusion on the relevant performers list (where applicable).
- Proven experience in performing a broad range of oral surgical procedures.
- Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in interpreting dental radiographs and CBCT imaging.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centred approach.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
