Must have at least 1 years experience. Must be available to work saturdays. We are seeking a passionate and creative Florist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for colour, design, and detail, with a genuine love for flowers and plants. This role offers the opportunity to craft beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions, from weddings to corporate events, while providing excellent customer service in a vibrant retail environment. Multilingual skills are highly valued to assist a diverse clientele and enhance communication within the team.
Duties
- Designing and creating bespoke floral arrangements tailored to customer specifications and occasions
- Assisting customers in selecting flowers, plants, and related accessories
- Maintaining the floral display area, ensuring it is attractive, organised, and well-stocked
- Managing stock levels and placing orders for fresh flowers and supplies as needed
- Providing advice on flower care, horticulture, and gardening tips to customers
- Organising deliveries and ensuring timely fulfilment of orders
- Keeping abreast of current floral trends and merchandising techniques to optimise sales
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent customer experience
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Florist or in a similar role within a retail or event setting (preferred)
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail and presentation
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is advantageous
- Knowledge of horticulture, gardening, and flower care techniques
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Organised with good time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously
- Experience in merchandising floral displays to attract customers is desirable
