Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and cooking to ensure high-quality dishes are delivered consistently
- Support the supervision of kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
- Manage food production processes, including portioning, plating, and presentation of menu items
- Uphold strict food safety and sanitation standards across all kitchen operations
- Help coordinate food service during busy periods, ensuring timely delivery to guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace at all times
- Contribute ideas for menu development and improve existing recipes based on culinary trends and guest feedback
Experience
- Proven experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting with hands-on kitchen experience
- Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience in a culinary environment
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety protocols
- Experience in food production, serving, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate team members and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and customer service expectations is highly desirable
