Gomer Williams Solicitors is looking to recruit a Criminal Defence Solicitor to join our expanding team at our Llanelli office. Our Criminal Department has built a strong reputation for excellence, acting in matters ranging from general criminal offences to serious crime and complex fraud cases. We are looking for a dedicated solicitor who shares our commitment to delivering exceptional client care and outstanding legal representation.
The Role
You will manage your own caseload of general and serious criminal matters from instruction through to conclusion, while working alongside an experienced and supportive team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Advising and representing clients across a broad range of criminal matters.
- Attending police stations, Magistrates' Courts and Crown Courts where required.
- Building strong relationships with clients, counsel and other professionals.
- Providing clear, practical legal advice with empathy and professionalism.
- Working collaboratively with experienced paralegals and support staff.
- Maintaining the high standards of client care and representation for which Gomer Williams is known.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- A qualified Criminal Defence Solicitor with experience managing a criminal caseload.
- Confident, approachable and able to build trust with clients from all backgrounds.
- Adaptable, proactive and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about delivering excellent client service and committed to ongoing professional development.
- A full UK driving licence holder with access to their own vehicle.
- Police Station Accredited (desirable but not essential).
