Job Overview
We are currently seeking compassionate, responsible, and reliable Part-Time Passenger Assistants to support the daily transport of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to and from schools and colleges in a safe, supportive, and friendly manner.
This rewarding role is ideal for individuals with experience in childcare, education, support work, or similar environments who have a genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of children and their families.
Working alongside a designated driver, you will help ensure each child travels safely, comfortably, and with the support they need throughout their journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist children when boarding and exiting the vehicle.
- Ensure passengers' safety and wellbeing throughout each journey.
- Secure wheelchairs, harnesses, and other safety equipment where required.
- Provide reassurance and support to children who may feel anxious or require additional assistance.
- Communicate professionally with parents, carers, drivers, and school staff.
- Maintain a calm, caring, and respectful approach at all times.
You will travel in fully equipped company vehicles, which may include:
- Cars
- MPVs
- Wheelchair-accessible vehicles
- 8-seater minibuses
- 16-seater minibuses
Essential Requirements
- A caring, patient, and reliable nature.
- Excellent punctuality and professionalism.
- The applicants must right to work in the UK.
- Non-British applicants will be required to provide documentary evidence demonstrating continuous UK residency for a minimum of five years as part of the recruitment and compliance process.
- An Enhanced DBS is desirable; however, we can assist successful applicants with obtaining one.
Training Provided
Successful applicants will receive comprehensive training, including:

- PATS (Passenger Assistant Training Scheme)
- First Aid
- Epilepsy Awareness
