Customer Service Representative
Location: Crewe (Office-based)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm (40 hours per week, including a 1-hour lunch break)
Starting Salary: £27,500 per annum

D&M Packaging is an independent flexographic printing company supplying high-quality printed packaging to some of the UK's leading fresh produce and food manufacturers.
We're looking for a motivated and organised Customer Service Representative to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The Role
As the first point of contact for many of our customers, you'll be responsible for managing customer orders from receipt through to delivery, ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining high levels of On-Time In-Full (OTIF) performance.
Working closely with our Sales, Production, Technical and Transport teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring customer requirements are accurately translated into live production orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders accurately using internal systems.
- Manage customer orders from receipt through to delivery.
- Build strong relationships with customers and provide excellent customer service.
- Respond to customer enquiries via telephone and email.
- Monitor order progress and communicate delivery updates.
- Produce customer reports and maintain stock information.
- Attend customer Teams meetings where required.
- Enter and maintain customer specifications and packaging information.
- Liaise with internal departments to resolve queries and delivery issues.
- Provide general office and administrative support.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Can prioritise a busy workload and work well under pressure.
- Has good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Enjoys working as part of a team.
- Has previous customer service, administration or order processing experience (preferred).
- Experience within manufacturing, packaging or printing would be an advantage, although full training will be provided.
