You will be working in the Infrastructure based in London Euston in where we are responsible for building world‑class rail solutions nationwide — from new stations and bridges to major network upgrades. With safety, efficiency and sustainability at the heart of our work, we collaborate closely with customers to meet passenger and freight needs while leaving a lasting positive impact on communities and the environment.
We are currently looking for a Engineering Surveyor who will develop the Engineering survey team members to meet and deliver project needs.
As the Engineering Surveyor, you will:
- Ensure that the project have the appropriate survey control network to fulfil the construction requirements.
- Setting out the works in accordance with the contract requirements before work is programmed to commence
- Share expert advice and guidance to the members of the engineering survey teams and other parts of the business related to engineering surveying and geospatial best practice.
- Provide a topographical survey in preparation for engineering works on site, setting out for the works, reports and measures and final survey information.
- Ensure that they team have the correct training/knowledge in how to work safely.
- Ensure quality is adhered to in relation to setting out and Inspection and test plans
We are looking for:
- Degree in Land Surveying or Engineering Surveying or
- ONC/B Tec in Land Surveying or previous experience as a Graduate Engineering Surveyor or Engineering surveying Technician.
- Ability to use survey instruments, software and working methods.
- Technical professional Membership of CICES or equivalent body is desirable.
- Commercial awareness.
