Chef Wanted – Streat Boss Café, Sheringham
Streat Boss Café is looking for a reliable and passionate chef to join our friendly team.
We are a busy, family-run café based in Sheringham, serving quality food in a welcoming and fast-paced environment. Our kitchen is open to the café, so we are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can stay calm under pressure, and understands the importance of keeping high standards at all times.
The role will involve preparing and cooking food for our daily café service, working as part of a small team, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen, and helping us continue to deliver the quality food and service our customers expect.
Alongside our café, we also have a growing number of outside catering bookings, so this is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, events, and being part of an expanding local business.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, organised, confident in a kitchen, able to work well under pressure, and passionate about good food and teamwork.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous kitchen or chef experience
- Ability to work in a busy open kitchen
- Good organisation and time management
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Good food hygiene standards
- Flexibility to support café service and outside catering bookings
