Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bathroom Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining bathroom fixtures and fittings in our hotels. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems, as well as the ability to work efficiently and safely in a variety of environments. Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install bathroom fixtures including baths, sinks, toilets, and showers.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialised tools to complete installations accurately.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure precise fitting.
- Perform plumbing tasks such as connecting water supply lines and drainage systems.
- Carry out repairs or modifications to existing bathroom fittings as required.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area throughout each project.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure project specifications are met within agreed timeframes.
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques.
- Strong plumbing skills with the ability to connect water supply lines and drainage systems effectively.
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to bathroom fixtures and fittings installation.
- Competence in carpentry for framing, fitting cabinets, or modifying structures as needed.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large fixtures or materials.
- Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and adjustments during installation processes.

Pay: £24,420.00-£40,000.00 per year
