About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our growing team based in Thetford. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service across a range of domestic, commercial, and light industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installations, maintenance, repairs, and fault finding.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults efficiently and safely.
- Complete testing, inspection, and certification of electrical installations.
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and health and safety standards.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
- Maintain accurate job records and complete required documentation.
- Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues.
- Keep company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working order.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- City & Guilds 2365, 2330, or equivalent qualification.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
- Testing and Inspection qualification (2391 or equivalent) is desirable.
- Previous experience in domestic and/or commercial electrical work.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
