Silverwood Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading provider of fuel, fleet, and mobility solutions supporting commercial customers across Ireland, the UK, and Europe.
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Client Relationship Executive to join their successful Sales Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities, and driving business growth.
This role is ideally suited to someone with strong outbound phone sales experience, who is confident engaging with customers, managing accounts, and converting conversations into commercial success.
The Role
As Client Relationship Executive, you will be responsible for developing strong relationships with a portfolio of B2B customers while proactively identifying opportunities to maximise growth.
Key responsibilities will include:
Client Relationship Management
- Managing and developing a portfolio of B2B customers across Ireland, the UK, and Europe;
- Building strong relationships through regular customer contact and account reviews;
- Understanding client requirements and identifying opportunities to add value;
- Delivering a high level of service to encourage customer retention and long-term partnerships.
Sales & Business Growth
- Carrying out proactive outbound sales calls to existing and potential customers;
- Promoting a range of fleet and business solutions including fuel cards, telematics, toll services, ferry solutions, VAT reclaim, and support services;
- Identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities;
- Managing objections, negotiating effectively, and closing sales opportunities;
- Achieving and exceeding agreed sales, growth, and retention targets.
Customer Support & Account Development
- Supporting new customers through onboarding and product setup;
- Providing ongoing guidance and support on products and systems;
- Monitoring customer activity, trends, and account performance;
- Working closely with internal teams to maximise customer satisfaction.
The Person
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven outbound phone-based sales experience (essential);
- Confidence initiating conversations, building relationships, and closing business over the phone;
- Strong communication and customer relationship management skills;
- A target-driven approach with the motivation to achieve and exceed goals;
- A proactive and organised approach with the ability to work in a fast-paced commercial environment;
- Good analytical ability with experience using CRM systems, Excel, or reporting tools;
- Full clean driving licence (occasional travel may be required).
Experience within fuel, fleet, logistics, telematics, or transport services would be advantageous but is not essential.
