Previous Extrusion experience - ESSENTIAL
To work effectively to promote all Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
We are a well-established PVC Recycling business based in the West Midlands seeking a dynamic and experience supervisor to join our team and lead our nightshift Monday to Thursday 18.00-06.00. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the efficient running of the site, ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance and training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and enforce Health and Safety protocols
- Utilize plant and machinery experience to optimise efficiency and productivity
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators, monitor and ensure targets are met
- Motive, mentor and lead a team
- Complete shift handovers and paperwork
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a leadership role
- Knowledge and understanding of machinery and equipment
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient in English, written and verbal
- Ability to maintain, influence and develop relationships
- Problem solver and decision maker
- Willingness to learn and develop
- A hands-on approach
Pay: From £40,000.00 per year
