We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic Dental Nurse to join our well-established private dental practice in the heart of Carmarthen.
We would ideally like to recruit a qualified GDC-registered Dental Nurse, but we are also happy to hear from an experienced trainee dental nurse who is already enrolled on an approved dental nursing course and has at least one year's experience working in a dental practice.

About the role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Chairside assistance for a range of general dental treatments
- Preparing and maintaining surgeries
- Instrument decontamination and cross-infection control
- Supporting patients before, during and after treatment
- Maintaining accurate clinical records
- Assisting with reception duties when required

Essential Qualified applicants:
- GDC registered
- Up-to-date CPD
- Knowledge of current cross-infection control procedures
Experienced trainee applicants:
- Currently enrolled on an approved dental nursing course
- At least one year's experience working in a dental practice
Pay and Working Hours
- Qualified Dental Nurses: Starting from £14.70 per hour, with higher rates available depending on experience and additional qualifications.
- Experienced Trainee Dental Nurses: Salary dependent on experience.
Working hours are generally 8:15am to 5:15pm, 4 days per week. You will also be required to work Saturdays on a rota basis, typically one Saturday every 6–8 weeks, shared fairly across the team.
