Duties
- Supervise daily cafe operations, ensuring smooth service flow and adherence to company standards
- Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of servers, kitchen staff, and support personnel to deliver top-tier customer service
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality, presentation, and safety standards
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and efficient service delivery
- Monitor food safety practices, hygiene standards, and compliance with health regulations
- Assist in training new staff members on service protocols, food handling, and safety procedures
- Handle guest inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction and foster positive experiences
- Support barista or beverage preparation activities when needed to enhance guest service
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a cafe or hospitality environment with team leading responsibilities
- Extensive restaurant experience with strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary practices
- Background in food safety protocols and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Familiarity with food production processes within a busy kitchen setting
- Experience in hospitality roles such as serving or guest relations is highly desirable
- Previous barista experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively
