We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and capable dog lover to help with Kennel maintenance for 4-5 mornings a week. In total approximately 20 hours. You would be working as part of a team to ensure that both boarding and breeding dogs are fed, watered, cleaned and exercised.
General responsibilities may include:
1. Ensuring kennels are cleaned to a good and sanitary standard.
2. Ensuring water bowls are clean and topped up in all kennels.
3. Reporting any concerns with a dog's health to another member of staff.
4. Ensuring rubbish is disposed of in the proper areas/bins.
5. Admitting boarding dogs and meeting their owners.
Qualifications/experience:
We do not require any previous experience working with animals, although it may be useful. Must be confident around dogs. You must be able to arrange your own travel arrangements, with local people being preferred due to us being remote. Training will be provided for you during your first shift.
