We are looking for an experienced, reliable and conscientious housekeeper to help look after our family home in Dogmersfield, near Fleet.
This is a long-term position and we are hoping to find someone who will become a trusted and valued part of our household for many years.
The most important thing to us is finding someone who has very high standards, takes genuine pride in their work and notices what needs doing without always needing to be asked. We are looking for someone who enjoys keeping a home beautifully clean, organised and well cared for.
The role will include:
- Thorough general cleaning throughout the house
- Cleaning kitchens and bathrooms to a high standard
- Changing beds and looking after bed linen
- Laundry and ironing
- Tidying and general household organisation
- Periodic deeper cleaning
- Keeping cleaning products and household supplies organised
- Taking care when cleaning furniture, surfaces and household belongings
- Using initiative to notice and deal with things that need attention
We are looking for someone who is:
- Extremely thorough with excellent attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Proud of the standard of their work
- Organised and able to work independently
- Proactive rather than needing constant direction
- Friendly, discreet and comfortable working in a family home
- Looking for a stable, long-term position
Previous experience working in a private household is strongly preferred and references will be required.
The position is for approximately 20 hours per week, ideally spread across four or five weekdays. We are happy to agree a regular pattern of hours that works well for the right person.
Pay: £17 per hour
We are recruiting directly and are not looking to work with agencies. We want to employ an individual and will not consider cleaning agencies
